See the Studio

The studio is a separate building located in the backyard of my home. It is climate controlled and fully equipped with four sewing stations and cutting height (36″) tables that I pop up or down depending on the class. All supplies and equipment like scissors, seam rippers, measuring tapes, rulers, etc. are provided for students to use. I also display my personal fabric collection as a teaching tool so I can help students better understand different types of material and how they are used.

Sewing machines used are the Brother CS6000i and a Janome that is no longer made, but similar to the Janome Mod 30. I also have an industrial Juki straight stitch machine and a blind hemmer that I use when teaching students interested in fashion design production or preparing for fashion school.
